Anglers at Panguitch Lake have enjoyed awesome fishing so far this year. Panguitch Lake is producing very
large fish and the fishing is expected to continue to be
fantastic throughout the year at Panguitch Lake. Panguitch Lake is the largest lake on Cedar Mountain and sits at approx 8400 ft in
elevation. The lake is 1,234 surface acres when full and up to 50 feet deep. Panguitch Lake is a natural lake that was dammed years ago to regulate the water flow. In native languages the word "Panguitch" means big fish and that is what you will find here. Panguitch Lake is feed by 3 streams and Panguitch Creek is a nice sized creek coming out of the lake. The area around Panguitch Lake lake is also known for being home to many trophy size buck mule deer and bull elk. Not only is the fishing and
hunting excellent in the Panguitch Lake area but the real estate market has great variety and value. Located just twenty minutes from Brian Head, the Panguitch Lake real estate market offers cabins with year around access, water, power,
phone, and some great views and forested lots. There are also seasonal areas that are great values for summer getaways from the city. Panguitch Lake is a little over three hours from Las Vegas and offers world class recreational property that is very affordable. The weather is nice and cool in the summer and is a perfect retreat from the desert heat.

The atv and snowmobile trails in this area offer spectacular rides and scenery including the Horse Valley road which leads to Paragonah Reservoir for fishing and some great valleys to hunt and sight see on the way.
